The optical lane indication consists of one or more control units (depending on the length of the tunnel and the location of the power supply), which operates light-emitting modules connected with each other via cable. When installed each module is being assigned with a clear address, whereby every module can be controlled individually. The parameters for each function can be adjusted and modified via the handling software. These modules are best mounted onto or as near as possible to the kerbstone. The brightness of the modules is adjustable via the control unit. The changeover from daylight to night intensity (and vice versa) can be carried out by an extern signal or by a brightness sensor. The power supply can result from the existing mains supply or from an extern solar station.
